easypay and split payment initiatives launched for Shambala Festival 2016

tier 1 and 2 tickets already sold out within hours of release

With tickets on sale now for Shambala at a secret location which takes place on August Bank Holiday Weekend from Thursday 25th until Sunday 28th August 2016, and Tiers 1 and 2 sold out within hours of release. The festivals has launched their easypay and split payment initiatives

The Easypay and Split Payment initiatives, both allow the cost of tickets to be spread between now and next May. With the Split Payment scheme (available on Tier 3 and Tier 4 tickets), Shambaholics pay half now and the balance before May 31st 2015. The Easypay scheme, enables the spread of the cost of tickets payments at anytime between now and May 31st, after paying an non-refundable deposit of £40. The Easypay scheme is available only on Tier 4 tickets.

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2016. The festival is expected to have 200 acts across a dozen or so stages of music programming, plus a roller disco, karaoke, contemporary circus performances (tightrope walking, swinging trapeze, pole dancing), and loads more.

Tier 3 tickets are priced as follows:

An adult weekend ticket is £159
Teen (aged 15/16/17yrs) weekend ticket £89
Child (aged 5-14yrs) weekend ticket £39
Child and Teen tickets may only be purchased with adult tickets. Maximum of 2 teen tickets per adult over 21yrs.
Child under 5 Free (but must register)

Van/Car+Caravan pass £45
Car Pass £30 (one per car)
Disabled tickets (2 for 1) Call 0844 870 0000. Valid with proof of middle or higher rate DLA support.

Tickets sold out last year at the beginning of June.

Shambala Festival was the first UK festival to accept Bitcoin - the world’s first digital currency - as payment for tickets.

Tickets are e-tickets so ticket holders must make sure they have their PIN and password ready for entry. Routing passes must be placed in the windscreen before arrival on site.

Shambaholics also have the chance to balance their travel-related carbon with a donation directly into renewable energy.
