Simply Red in the Forests 2016

Tickets go on sale today for Simply Red have announced a brace of gigs next summer as part of the Forestry Commission's Forest Live 2016, the annual summer music series organised by the Forestry Commission, where bands perform in unique woodland locations across England.
Simply Red plus guests will be performing on the following dates:-
Saturday 2 July: Delamere Forest, near Northwich, Cheshire.
Sunday 3 July: Thetford Forest, near Brandon, Suffolk.
Tickets are priced at £47.50 (plus £5.25 booking fee) .
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission to bring both music and forests to new audiences.
Income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting, improving and expanding England&'s forests and woodlands and increasing their value to people and wildlife. Over Forest Live's 14 year history, money raised has contributed to a wide range of projects, from wildlife conservation to making improvements for visitors.
Simply Red also appear at Summer Days Festival a new music festival which takes place from Wednesday 6th, to Saturday 9th July 2016 in the grounds of Clitheroe Castle in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire. The first act confirmed is Simply Red as the first headline act on Wednesday, with two more headliners to be annnounced.
The festival will have two live stages featuring more than 30 artists, a locally sourced gourmet food village and a dedicated real ale area.
Tickets are priced at tickets at £55 per day, and go on sale at 10am today, Friday 23rd October.
