Early bird tickets are on sale for next year's family-friendly Wychwood Festival which returns for its' 12th event to Cheltenham Racecourse, in Gloucestershire next year from Friday 3rd until Sunday 5th June 2016, during the summer half term holiday.

A limited number of early bird tickets went on sale today at 10am on Thursday 20th August 2015 with savings of up to £40 on adult weekend camping tickets while the Tier One early bird offer is available.

Organisers say, "2015's event sold out on Friday and Saturday, over a weekend that saw live music from timeless legends and fresh faces and an action-packed programme of family entertainment, workshops, talks and more. Next year's Wychwood will aim to once again prove its standing as one of the country's best loved family festivals."

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2016.

The Wychwood Music Festival boasts four music stages with over 100 bands, plus comedy, 100 workshops and events for all ages, kids literature festival, healing and sculpture gardens, The Headphone Disco until the wee hours, great food and real ales, and much more.

Wychwood offers fantastic fun for kids, and hosts a literary festival with authors and illustrators, kids' favourite characters, a multitude of making things, playing with stuff, learning, education, workshops, dance, and much more, and all free with no need to sign up, just drop in and join in the fun.

There are numerous workshop venues, and with over 100 events over the weekend both inside and out for adults, kids and families featuring dance, theatre, fitness, nature, musicianship, singing, puppetry, photography, circus skills arts and crafts and much more.

A full adult weekend ticket is priced at just £110, a disabled (2 for 1 with carer) ticket is priced at £110, Youth/Concessions weekend tickets are priced at £95, a teen (aged 10-15 yr) full weekend ticket is priced at £55, children aged 5-9 years weekend tickets are priced at £10 and under 5 year olds go free with an adult.

An adult camping ticket is an additional £15, concession camping tickets are priced at £8, camping for children aged under 16 years is free, and a campervan ticket is priced at £45.
