Leading the final acts to be announced for month's Bloodstock Open Air taking place over the weekend of Thursday 6th until Sunday 9th August 2015 at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire are Savage Messiah who appear in the last Ronnie James Dio main stage slot on Saturday.
Added to the line-up for the New Blood stage are Mortishead, Forgotten Remains, Kryocell, Amethyst, Chaos Trigger, Bloodyard, From Eden To Exile, Hells Gazelles, Burden Of The Noose, Spirytus, and Left For Red.
Bloodstock has also announced it will once again partner with Teenage Cancer Trust for the fifth year in a row. Since 2011, over £21,000 has been raised for the charity, with the money going to help the UK’s teenagers & young adults with cancer. This year they've set a fundraising target of £12,500. Once again the charity will have a stall in the market area, selling Teenage Cancer Trust merchandise and offering a ‘T-Shirt Amnesty’ (clear some drawer space and bring your unwanted band T-shirts to donate or swap). There are also raffle prizes up for grabs.
Trivium headline Friday as a UK exclusive, Rob Zombie as Sunday headliner with special guests Black Label Society, Saturday night headliners Within Temptation and their support Opeth. Tickets are priced at £135 for adults with camping (+ booking fees), and car parking is priced at £16, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £35, and campervan passes priced at £55, and VIP options are also available.
As well as the international heavy metal bands across four stages, Bloodstock will offer a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.
Returning this year for Friday-Sunday are the very popular Battle Of Nations UK historical fighting team with their regular ‘demonstrations’ (read: ‘full-on’, no-holds-barred fighting with broadswords, maces and plenty of other historical weaponry) in their designated pen in the main arena.
