A month ago lead singer Dave Grohl fell off a stage in Sweden just two songs in and broke his fibula bone in his leg, resulting in the cancellation of their Wembley Stadium, and Murrayfield Stadium appearances.
Now Foo Fighters, return to these shores in September, and will play the following dates:
Saturday 5th September Milton Keynes Bowl, Milton Keynes
Sunday 6th September Milton Keynes Bowl, Milton Keynes
Tuesday 8th September Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh
Foo Fighters are joined by special guest Iggy Pop at Milton Keynes Bowl, at Murrayfield it will be Royal Blood, and Honeyblood, with other guests to be announced.
Ticket purchasers for the June shows 2015 by Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium and Murrayfield, will be offered an exclusive allocation of tickets to buy up front of the general onsale.
Tickets prices have not yet been announced. There will also be hospitality options available. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, 17th July at 10am and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.
The band is currently on tour in North America—playing multiple nights at stadiums and arenas including New York’s Citi Field, Fenway Park in Boston and the Forum in Los Angeles--then off to headline Fuji Rock Festival (Japan) and Ansan Valley Rock Festival (South Korea) before arriving on UK shores.
