Josh T Pearson to headline Leeds' High and Lonesome

Josh T Pearson will headline the 2nd annual High and Lonesome, Leeds' Festival of Americana, taking place on Saturday 14th November 2015, and moving to a new home in the form of The Brudenell Social Club and the Left Bank Church.

Other confirmed acts include Slowdivefrontman, Mojave 3 songwriter and recent Sun Kil Moon guitarist Neil Halstead, Tom Williams, Lewis & Leigh, Harry Mundy & The Mules, Cottonwoolf, Fitzwallace, Olivia Naio, and Simeon Walker.

With lots more to announce including a second headliner, art and film programme.

Harry Ridgway the event's co-founder, said, "We’re massively excited to announce Josh T. Pearson as our first headlinerfor this years festival. He has been on our wish list from the very start and captures the essence and the spirit of High & Lonesome perfectly.

"We’re very proud to have fantastic local acts like Cottonwoolf, and Simeon Walker on the bill, as well as people we’ve been fans of for years like Harry Mundy &The Mules and Tom Williams.

"Moving to the Brudenell and Left Bank is also a fantastic thing; both venues are stunning and about as close to another as you can get. It’s already shaping up to a brilliant year and we’ve still got lots to come!"

As well as live music there will be a record fair, film screenings, pop up sessions, street food and more.
