Tom Jones will perform an additional night at this summer's Greenwich Music Time, the four-day concert series.

He joins the previously announced headliners Ray Davies, George Benson, and The Gipsy Kings at the event.Sir Tom already appears on the Sunday night but will now return on the Monday of the event which takes place over six nights from Wednesday 22nd until Monday 27th July at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich in London.

His headline slot already announced for Sunday had sold-out. Peter Taylor of GMT Organisers Cuffe & Taylor, said, "Perhaps unsurprisingly we’ve had to put an additional date on sale to cope with the overwhelming demand for tickets to see Sir Tom performing against the beautiful backdrop of the Old Royal Naval College this summer.

"The enthusiasm and excitement shown by the public is of course testament to the enduring popularity of one of the UK’s finest ever performers but we hope it is also an indication of the appeal of our event, which in only two years has built a reputation as one of the highlights of the live music calendar."
