King Creosote will headline the 2nd annual Electric Fields which will take place on Saturday 29th August at Drumlanrig Castle, Thornhill, Dumfries and Galloway, in Scotland.

Also confirmed are Blanck Mass, Vessels, Catholic Action, Birdhead, Finding Albert, Fat Goth, United Fruit, and Outblinker.

They join a line-up including The Phantom Band, Hector Bizerk, Golden Teacher, PAWS, Victorian Trout Conspiracy, Randolphs Leap, Esperanza, Miaoux Miaoux, Monogram, Jonnie Common, Pronto Mama, Man of Moon, Numbers are Futile, Kill the Waves, Crash Club, and Root System, with more acts to be announced.

This year organisers promise their biggest line-up to date and upping its capacity, an extra 1000 festival goers can also expect to see up to 50 artists & bands performing over 4 stages.

A new alternative stage has also been added, curated by Scottish magazine The Skinny.

Alex Roberts, Electric Fields Festival Director, said, "To have someone like King Creosote headline Electric Fields in just our second year is unreal, we are so happy to have him leading the line. To have such an iconic musician close the day at such an iconic location is something special. We’re also delighted to an-nounce the first names for The Skinny stage, the likes of Blanck Mass and Vessels mean we have an even wider array of artists on the bill, and we’re looking forward to starting the mags 10th anniversary celebrations with us!"

Tickets are priced at £40 with camping, or £30 without camping. A concession (aged 13-17 tears) camping ticket Pass is priced at £25 or £15 without camping, a campervan pass is £10, and children aged under 13 can attend free, but need a ticket.
