Larmer Tree adds an extra day with Tom Jones

This summer's Larmer Tree Festival will be a six day event with Tom Jones now performing on Tuesday 14th July, in addition to his headline set on Wednesday 15th July.

Organisers revealed the high demand for Wednesday tickets has meant that Tom Jones has been added to the bill for an unprecedented extra night , making this year's 25th anniversary celebrations a six-night extravaganza!

Tom’s Tuesday and Wednesday headline performances offer the chance to hear him in the unique and intimate setting of the Larmer Tree gardens, and the opportunity to enjoy the full festival experience midweek.

Organisers said, "With just 4,000 tickets available, the audience will be able to indulge in delicious festival fare, enjoy the wonderful Larmer art installations, and take part in a spot of shopping at the global bazaar before settling down to a night of live music under the stars"

Also confirmed today are  The Shires who will be supporting Tom Jones on both Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th July.

Other acts confirmed for the festival, now in it's 25th year, which takes place from Tuesday 14th to Sunday 19th July 2015 at Larmer Tree Gardens include Tom Jones, who once again tops the bill opening the festival on Wednesday 15th July. He will be followed on Thursday by another returning Larmer Tree band, Levellers, dynamic guitar duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela on Friday, Femi Kuti on Saturday and Jimmy Cliff and Bill Bailey on Sunday.

Other acts confirmed include Bellowhead, The Magic Numbers, The Beat, Meadowlark, Laura Doggett, Seafret, Molotov Jukebox, Dub Inc., Shlomo, By The Rivers, Andy Kershaw, Steve Knightley, Blair Dunlop, Louis Barabbas & The Bedlam Six, Hunter and The Bear, Jarrod Dickenson, Megan Henwood, AJ Holmes and the Hackney Empire, ChainSka Brassika, Winter Mountain, Nudybronque, Time for T, Pachango, Count Bobo & The Bullion, Tezeta, Gold Of My Own, Peluche, Lotte Mullan, Will McNicol and Luke Selby, Tinderbox, Bella Figura, The Villanovas, The Drystones, Cate Ferris, Orchestre National de Barbes, Ibibio Sound Machine, Show of Hands, Raghu Dixit, Kobo Town, Martin Carthy, Kiko Bun, CoCo and the Butterfields, Curtis Eller's American Circus, Snowapple, Swingrowers, Keston Cobblers Club, Naomi Bedford, C.C. There will be over 100 bands and acts will perform on six stages, alongside a comedy club, 150 free workshops and a Sunday carnival.

Tickets for the evening of Tuesday 14th , along with a limited number of tickets for Wednesday 15th July are on sale now, priced from just £65 including tent camping.

Tickets are sold on a tiered system.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £240 for all 5 days, £199 for 4 days, and £174 for 3 days, there are Youth (age 11-17), and Child (age 5-10) options also available, and under 5's are free. Parking, campervan passes, and day tickets are also available now.

The ticket price includes camping for the night(s) of the date(s) of a ticket, and expect them to sell out quite quickly.

There is an added week-long holiday pass available, these are priced at £260 for adults, £176 for youth, and £104 for children aged over 5, with a dedicated luxury camping field providing hot showers, toilets, a café, campfire and barbecue area.
