Peatbog Faeries, The Unthanks, and Kathryn Tickell & The Side lead the first acts announced for Solfest which returns after taking a year out in 2014 to Tarnside Farm, Tarns, nr Aspatria, in Cumbria.

The three day event will be held from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August 2015, August bank holiday, as a slightly smaller event but still retaining the key features that have made it so popular over the past 11 years.

Also confirmed for the main Drystone Stage are The Baghdaddies, Backyard Rhythm Orchestra, Pikey Beatz, Holy Moly & the Crackers, Emma and the Professor, Weirdstring Band, Ginger Snap and The Style Pile, Stooshie, The Coast Road, Moss Troopers, Bridie Jackson and The Arbour, Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra, Sam Kelly, Bombskare, and The Lancashire Hotpots. The Bar Stage will host Annemarie Quinn, My Little Brother, Young Rebel Set, Samuel S. Parkes, Heartbreak Remedy, We Are Quasars, Popgun, The Exciles, Afterglow, The Borgias, No Thrills, Bombskare, and No Coward Soul, while Banco de Gaia is the first act announced for the Electric Village. There are still many more to be announced, including the line-ups for The Love Shack, and House Of Joy.

The festival which offers seven stages of entertainment with something for everyone ncludes free camping, free parking (next to your tent), plenty of food from around the world, a licensed bar (or you can bring your own), sculptures, a healing area, adult workshops, craft stalls, walkabout performances and theatre, a baby area, fire performances, an acoustic music session tent, and more.

Adult Standard - £110
Young People Standard (age 11-15) - £70 (Must be ordered with at least one adult ticket)
Child Tickets (age 6-10) - £10
Babies & Toddlers (age 0-5) – FREE but still need a ticket
Thursday Camping (per adult ticket) - £10
