more acts announced for the 30th Ely Folk Weekend

Nancy Kerr and the Sweet Visitor Band, The Hut People, New Essex Bluegrass Band, Hannah Sanders, Fendragon, Jess Morgan, Jimmy & Sid, Novinka Folskaband, Megson, Whapweasel, Gavin Davenport, Threepenny Bit, Twisted Routes, Daniel Nestlerode, Chris Newman & Stella Hensley, Chuck Cash & The Fenland Cowboys, Broadside Boys, Boo Hewerdine, Luke Jackson, Gog Magog Hillbillies, Steve Hicks and Lynn Goulbourn, Blackjack Blues Band, Broadside Boys, New Essex Bluegrass Band, Katie Lyle, and Addison's Uncle are the latest acts announced for Ely Folk Weekend, now in its 30th year.

The first acts confirmed were The Willows, Oysterband, Eliza Carthy & The Wayward Band, Artisan, Steve Tilston, and Les Barker,  for the small, friendly festival happening from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th July 2015 where artists play meet and greet 'unplugged' sessions, there is also a real ale bar, trade stalls, numerous concerts, dances, displays, sessions, ceilidhs and children's entertainment plus a programme of workshops.

The festival is held on a single site which includes marquees, camping facilities, food stalls, trade stands, real-ale bar, real toilets, showers, children's entertainment plus Morris displays and pub sessions during the day in Ely City centre.

Early bird weekend tickets are priced at £67 per adult without camping or £79 with camping. Tickets ar priced at £56 for concessions (over 65s or registered disabled) without camping or £68 with camping. £23 per young person aged 10-17 without camping or £29 with camping (under 10s are free), and are due on sale from Tuesday 24th February 2015, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.
