Clannad, Billy Bragg, and Mallorcan band BOC with their only UK gig, lead the acts announced so far for the line-up for Southwell Folk Festival which takes place from Thursday 4th until Sunday 7th June 2015.
This year the festival is moving sites, down the road next to Southwell Racecourse, It is a larger site so camping and caravans can be next to the main field. They will be putting on a loop bus service between the site and town centre throughout the weekend.
The latest additions also include The Hot Seats, Lil Jimmy Reed, The Tweed Project, Mark Rogers & Mary Byrne, Cloudstreet, The Rheingans Sisters, Conservatoire Folk Ensemble, Granny's Attic, Floot Street, and The Portraits.
Guests so far include The Railsplitters, Coco and the Butterfields, The Young Un’s, Keith Donnelly, Flossie Malavialle, We Banjo 3, Martin Simpson, Andy Cutting & Nancy Kerr, Chris Wood & Andy Cutting, Chris Wood, Martin Simpson, Urban Folk Quartet, Artisan, Conservatoire Folk Ensemble, Maia, Manran, and Anthony John Clarke. Many more names and headliners to be confirmed.

The ticket price goes up on March 1st. The new price will be £110 for a weekend extra and £95 for standard weekend tickets.
An early bird adult weekend ticket is priced at £85 plus camping or weekend extra (to inc Thurs) £100. A youth weekend (aged 12 - 18 years) no camping ticket is priced at £47. Youth camping is an additional £10. A family (2 Adults and 2 Youths) wekeend extra ticket including Thursday camping is priced at £255.
A campervan pass is priced at £5. Day tickets, and wi-fi access will also be available at a later date.
Prices do not include booking fees.
