BoomTown Fair announces it's OldTown District line-up

of Gypsy, Balkan, Gypsy Punk, & general pirateness

OldTown, one of the eight districts ar BoomTown Fair, has announced it's line-up of for the old port area replete with Pirate Ship full of Gypsy, Balkan, Gypsy Punk, & general pirateness.

Chapter Seven of the immersive, theatrical and artistic festival with an on going narrative for around 45,000 festivalgoers takes place at Matterley Estate, nr. Winchester, in Hampshire and will run from Thursday 13th until Sunday 16th August 2015.

The line-up of OldTown's scoundrels and crusty seadogs is led by Invisible Circus Pirate Show, and features another appearance by Gogol Bordello, plus Dubioza Kolektiv, Amsterdam Klezmer Band, La Pegatina, Kumpania Algazarra, Soviet Suprem, Antwerp Gipsy-Ska Orkestra, Jabul Gorba, Sheelanagig, The Carny Villains, Gypsy Sound System Orkestra, Giufa, Glitzy Baghags, Balkan Hotsteppas, Sacha Dieu, Gypsy Unit, My Bad Sister, Woohoo Revue, The Real Tuesday Weld, Full Attack Band, Bare Knuckle Parade, Tantz, Black Friday, Seas of Mirth, Johnny Kowalski & The Sexy Weirdos, Jackson Scott, Ushti Baba, The Recks, Holy Moly & the Crackers, The Rubber Duck Orchestra, Albaroma, Manushka, Town Of Cats, Shambolique, Fat Sandwich, Backyard Rhythm Orchestra, and The Inexplicables.

The festival is made up of eight very different districts and 22 stages, which celebrate a variety of individual music genres and cultures from Ska to Jungle, Reggae to Folk and a whole load more in between and beyond, the line ups are released district by district.

Tier Three tickets are still available starting at £155 (+BF & EcoBond)  plus there is the split payment option starting from £40, where you can pay off as little or as much as you like in instalments until 1st July 2015.

There is an option to donate £2, £5 or £10 to the event's charity partners for 2015, all donations are matched by BoomTown.

This is just the first district line up announcement for BoomTown, next up on 3rd Feb will be the full headliners announcement and then after that from 10th Feb, will be the start of all the remaining district line ups:
