Dave Matthews Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Jo Harman are the first acts confirmed for the 5th annual BluesFest which returns to London between Friday 6th and Sunday 8th November 2015 moving this year to the various venues of The O2 Arena, in Greenwich.

Live Nation have announced a three year deal that sees the festival move from The Royal Albert Hall to a new London home - The O2 in North Greenwich.

Festival Director Leo Green said, "This move is a clear statement of ambition from all involved in BluesFest. Having grown exponentially over the last four years, it became clear that it was time to find a new and bigger home to cater to the growing demand for BluesFest. We look forward to bringing some fantastic artists to The O2 in London this autumn and for years to come."

Rebecca Kane Burton, General Manager of The O2 added, "Welcoming BluesFest to The O2 this November is a real honour and we know our guests will love the weekend of unique music programming. We've signed a three year deal with BluesFest ensuring we take Blues music to a bigger audience allowing the event to grow further and featuring a total takeover of the campus which will keep Blues fans entertained."

The idea of an international celebration of blues and jazz originated from the Marquee Club's enterprising young promoter Harold Pendleton, who played a key role in developing jazz and rock scenes in London, the original festival became a forerunner of today's Reading Festival.

Tickets prices have not yet been announced, tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday, 13th February and eFestivals will have links to buy them then then.
