An adult weekend ticket is priced at £80 with camping. Youth (16 - 17 yrs) weekend with camping ticket is priced at £80, a festival junior (11 - 15yrs) weekend ticket is priced at £25, children aged 5-10 years weekend tickets are priced at £10. Children aged under 5 years can attend for free. All children under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Ticket prices do no include booking fees.

Whilst this festival is called Volksfest, it is not prohibitive in letting non-Volkswagon owners attend. Whilst many VW owners camp in special reserved camping beside the main arena, above the arena on the slopes of Newnham Park is open to all, with the added bonus of being able to camp next to your vehicle most of the time. BBQ's (off the ground) are permitted, but not open fires, there are proper festival food stalls in the main arena.

The idea of the event is to offer everyone a chilled out family friendly weekend with lots of entertainment for all. They have two music tents, a comedy tent, children's entertainment, stalls and more, not forgetting the Show'n'Shine VW displays.
