Alt-J, Kylie, London Grammar, Flume, Jon Hopkins, Kwabs, Sven Vath, Giorgio Moroder, and festival regular Modeselektor lead the first acts for Germany's Melt! Festival taking place from Friday 17th until Sunday 19th July 2014.

Other acts confirmed are Bonobo (DJ set), Clark, Autechre, Nozinja, Dark Sky, Sophie, The Bug, Dorian Concept , SiriusModeselektor, Alan Fitzpatrick, Cakes da Killa, Cashmere Cat, Chris Liebing, Claptone, David August, Element of Crime, Ellen Allien, Erland Oye (Kings of Convenience), Evian Christ, Howling, La Roux, Marek Hemmann, Markus Kavka, Mathias Kaden, Nils Frahm, Nina Kraviz, Rodhad, Roni Size Reprazent, Seinabo Sey, Shura, Tocotronic, TUSN, Von Spar, and xxxy.

The 18th Melt! festival returns to the giant industrial museum, Ferropolis, in the city of Gräfenhainichen, south east of Dessau, Germany. The festival features electronica dance music from pop and indie though to ambient beats and hop hop, spread across 6 floors with more than 80 live acts appearing over the weekend.

The doors open at 3pm every day with performances beginning at around 5pm and going on thru' the night, with the Sunday headliner expected to end just after 11pm.
