A new small family festival  has been announced for Cumbria. Northbound Festival will take place on the site of the former CockRock festival and won’t just be about the music, it will be about the whole festival experience.

The festival, happening from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th August 2015 at Wellington Farm, in Cockermouth, is being organised by CN Events and CLL (Culture Leisure Life) and has been made possible thanks to the funding and support of Allerdale Council and Nuclear Management Partners (NMP).

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2015. The weekend will showcase both nationally-acclaimed and emerging artists, and the festival will also focus on talent from Cumbria and surrounding areas.

It will have a strong family feel and include a children’s area, complete with its own disco, crafts and workshops.
