Muse for Portugal's NOS Alive Festival, formerly Optimus Alive!

Muse have been confirmed as headlining the opening night of Portugal's NOS Alive Festival, formerly Optimus Alive!, taking place in Lisbon from Thursday 9th to Saturday 11th of July 2015.

Muse have spent much of this year working on their 7th studio album, and are currently recording with producer Robert John ‘Mutt’ Lange, best known for his work on the AC/DC record, 'Back in Black'.

They join the previously announced Alt-J.

A 3 day ticket on See Tickets with camping is priced at £102 with camping or £88 without camping. A day ticket is priced at £44.50. Prices do not include booking fees.

Now entering its ninth year, the 50,000 capacity festival is very much a 'beach by day, music by night' destination festival - the festival opens at 6pm and goes on until 6am and fans can either book from the huge array of affordable local accommodation, or camp in the festival campsite.

With the Tagus River as landscape to explore the festival has arts, cafes, restaurants, as well as music on offer.
