Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor, Belinda O'Hooley & Heidi Tidow, Billy Mahonie, and Bridie Jackson and The Arbour lead the first acts to be announced for the fifth annual The End Festival which takes place from Thursday 20th and Sunday 23rd November 2014 at various venues in London's Crouch End.

Joining them will be Penguins By Choice, Sephine Llo, Trio Heinz Herbert, Sophie Louise, Evelinn Trouble, Douga, Grasscut , Hacia Dos Veranos, Wolf Tone DJs, Amor De Dias, Mishaped Pearls, Seeds & Bones, Ruth Barnes, Mnevis, Moes Anthill, Tobias Carshey, Lowpines, The Leaf Library, Luc Jornot, Eliza Shaddad, Pip Mountjoy, SoftlySoftly, Joe Innes & The Cavalcade, Gus MacGregor, Perfect Disaster Boy, Firestations, De'Borah, MALKA, Hangover Lounge DJs, Jakubowski, and Buzzard Lope with even more acts to be added.

Curator Howard Monk said, "Crouch End is full of creative and media types yet only really well known for decent restaurants. However, there are a number of excellent events if you scratch the surface, and this is our latest offering.

"We’re keen to bring excellent touring bands out of the usual epicenters of Shoreditch, Dalston, Camden, Central London up to Crouch End for a couple of nights. Not just celebrating local acts (although there are a number on the bill), but mixing those with touring acts makes a great event."

There will also be a mini-conference with guest speakers, panelists from The Local and international industry delegates.
