The sun may be setting on the festivals held outdoors in fields this summer with the last few outdoor events taking place this month, but there are still plenty of indoor festivals you can attend during the winter, and it's worth taking a look at the 150 or so events we have listed just for the rest of the year.

There's a vast range of events on offer this weekend alone there's events including SuperByte the chiptune, retrogaming & 8 bit arts weekender, Exeter's Acoustica Festival, and Wakefield's Long Division Festival which has moved this year to the end of the summer.

Coming up there's Surrey's punktastic Undercover Festival, Portsmouth's Southsea Fest, the Derby Folk Festival, Cheltenham's Walk The Line, Whitby's Musicport, Bristol's Simple Things, Ferocious Dog's second annual Dogfest, Manchester's The Whisky Sessions, and all those events in holiday resorts like the Great British Folk Festival, The Big Reunion, and those nutty boys Madness' own House of Fun Weekender, as well as many more.

To see what we have listed for the rest of the year, and beyond, see our future listings page.

Of course our list includes the last handful of outdoor events, plus the occasional overseas event should you fancy a getaway.

Just because summer's coming to an end, it doesn't mean the festival season is.
