Michael Kiwanuka and Many Things for OxfordOxford

A brace of acts have been confirmed for the new OxfordOxford, held at South Park, Oxford from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th September 2014, with locally founded international charity, Oxfam the official charity partner.

Michael Kiwanuka will be joining Christian Gregory and Celeste as part of the Movement Records set, with Many Things also joining the bill on Saturday.

Acts confirmed for the music orientated Saturday include Gaz Coombes, Klaxons, Katy B, Christian Gregory, Celeste, Flights of Helios, Balloon Ascents, Robot Swans, Tunng, Pixel Fix, Dance a la Plage. A special ‘Movement Records Presents’ set will see Christian Gregory and Celeste (both Movement Records artists) curate a bespoke performance..

On Sunday the park will host charities, and community groups including Dancin’ Oxford and the Museum of Oxford, plus have-a-go sports, performing arts, street food, music, film, art galleries, markets, motorsport displays and more..

Friday is film night with screenings of Alice In Wonderland and Grease sing-along confirmed added to them are a Dirty Dancing Dance-Along, Top Gun, and The Goonies.

All ticket prices include booking fees.

Sunday will be free entry with tickets for the other days ranging from £6.25 to £32.50. Residents within the OX postcodes are able to purchase a special weekend discounted ticket at £43.25, £6 cheaper than the equivalent price of purchasing individual Friday and Saturday tickets.
