If you fancy watching Texas, Gabrielle, All Saints, and Lulu James this weekend, then there's a special buy one get one free offer on tickets for Sound Waves 2014 taking place in Bents Park, South Shields seafront this Saturday, 23rd August 2014.

An adult ticket is priced at £16.50 each (included booking fee). Child tickets are priced at £11 each (including booking fee) Please Note: Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

The park will open to the public at approximately 4.30pm. Please be patient if the gates open slightly later than advertised. There will be a genuine reason for this either a sound check overrun or health and safety considerations.

The concert will commence at approximately 5.40pm. There will be changeovers in between each act who is performing at Sound Waves in order to remove equipment and reset the stage.

After the show has finished the park will close to the public at approximately 10.00pm.

A number of bus stops are located adjacent to Bents Park on Sea Road. The nearest Metro Station is South Shields which is approximately a 20 minute walk to Bents Park.

Bents Park is a large open area which provides good views of the stage for those in wheelchairs from most areas. In addition there is a large video screen adjacent to the stage which will show live footage of the concert. There is a designated disabled viewing platform however capacity is limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
