Early bird tickets have gone on sale today for Beacons Festival which takes place from Friday 13th until Sunday 16th August 2015 at Funkirk Estate, Carleton, in North Yorkshire.

The festival managed to safely keep going after storms came over the festival site in Skipton last night. The only main stage band to have their set stopped was The Fall (due to weather) but they reappeared to perform Mr Pharmacist. The smaller outdoor stages were closed later on as the storm came over and smaller acts on the new outdoor Argyll Stage, the Redbull music studio stage. and the East Leeds Fm stage had to be cancelled in the final hours.

Early bird weekend tickets are on sale now priced at £59.50 + booking fee. Deposit tickets, young person (aged 13-17 years), and child (aged 7-12 years) will be available at alter date. children under 7 years can attend free.

eFestivals will be bringing you a review shortly of the event which hosted Daughter, Darkside, Neneh Cherry, Jon Hopkins, Hookworms, 65daysofstatic, Melt Yourself Down and Joan as Policewoman.

Festival promoter Ashley Kollakowski said, "We changed the layout of the festival and incorporated more things into the main arena - which really worked. The glorious sunshine of Saturday and standout performances from local acts like Hookworms and Galaxians. By Sunday night with the hurricane coming over, the Health and Safety team worked super hard and kept the show going. The Fall’s set was stopped briefly due to weather but they came back on playing a roaring version of Mr Pharmacist. Neneh Cherry praised the whole team for making her feel welcome and working hard to shelter them from the storm. Darkside closed the festival in true headliner style. Beacons 2014 was a truly great and inspiring festival."

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2015. The festival will also offer a cinema programme, children's entertainment, spoken word, theatre and more.Organisers also promise a host of interactive light and sound installations, hand crafted structures, and flag installations that will be positioned throughout the site.
