first acts announced for Devon's Acoustica Festival

The first acts have been announced for the sixth Acoustica Festival taking place at Exeter Phoenix and other venues around Exeter, Devon on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th September 2014, with satellite events happening on the Sunday.

Confirmed for the first day are Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, Tom Hickox, Winter Mountain, Jess McAllister, Bite The Buffalo, Grice, Death & Treason, Rhyme & Reason, The Black Feathers, Kezia, Sam Fearon, and Shakespeare And The Bible.

The first acts confirmed for the dsecond day are Blair Dunlop, Hannah Lou Clark, Count To Fire, Arhai, Nick Harper, Woodford Green, Moor Reason, Sam Piper, The Sunday SkyClub, Polly Money, Hazaar, Wildwood Kin, Suntrapp. Plus many more to be confirmed.

Tickets are priced at £10.

The festival will take place at the following venues and times:

Exeter Phoenix Fri 12 & Sat 13, 6pm till late (6 stages/50+ acts) .
Bike Shed Theatre Fri 12 & Sat 13, from 10pm & Sun 14, from 8pm.
The Old Firehouse Fri 12 & Sat 13, from 10pm Entry by wristband - available on the door from Exeter Phoenix.
Barnfield Theatre Sun 14, 12 till 6pm (free entry).
Globe Inn, Newtown Thu 11, 8pm (festival warm-up event – free entry) - more tbc.
The Oddfellows Fri 12, Sat 13 & Sun 14 – The Acoustica Brunch Club, musicians from the weekend playing, anyone with a ticket from the weekend can get a brunch & beer for £10, 12 till 6pm (free entry)
