BBC Introducing line-up announced for Reading and Leeds Festival

The line-up has been announced for BBC Introducing Reading & Leeds Festivals happening on the August bank holiday weekend with Rae Morris, Prides, and Moko returning to headline this time round.

The line-up of 28 up-and-coming acts have been selected by BBC producers and presenters from a huge list of recommendations from our local BBC Introducing shows, and are Adam French, All We Are, Billie Marten, Bloody Knees, Broken Hands, Bulletproof Bomb, Crystal Seagulls, Dancing Years, Esco Williams, Happyness, Heavy Petting Zoo, Hello Operator, Jack Garratt, John J Presley , Judge And The Jury , Juniors, Lippi , Lyves, Man Made, Mother, Natasha North, Oh Volcano, Rebecca Clements, Shambles In A Husk, and Sunset Sons .

Kieran Yeates, BBC Introducing Producer, commented, "We’ll be returning once again to Reading and Leeds Festival this Bank Holiday weekend to showcase an array of up and coming acts. Our panel of producers and presenters from across the BBC carefully selected the 28 acts from a huge list of recommendations from our local BBC Introducing shows. We’ve also invited back some of the acts who’ve previously graced our stage to headline this time round. Don’t miss another chance to see Prides, Rae Morris and Moko before they make their inevitable moves to the main stages!

"There’s a huge amount of talent playing our stage this year so do come by if you’re at the festival. If not, then keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages for updates and check back for live videos all weekend.

The line-up includes Arctic Monkeys, Blink 182, Queens Of The Stone Age, Paramore, Jake Bugg, Disclosure, Metronomy, Of Mice & Men, Wilkinson, The 1975, The Courteeners, You Me At Six, Sbtrkt, Warpaint, Netsky, Annie Mac, Architects, Pusha T, Krept & Konan, Royal Blood, Vampire Weekend, Enter Shikari, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Bombay Bicycle Club.

Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire with both events happening over the weekend of Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August 2014.

All ticket options are still available for Leeds including weekend tickets at the price of  £205, plus booking fees, and postage fees will apply per order. Campervan tickets are also on sale priced at £60. Day tickets Friday, Saturday, Sunday £92.50 plus booking fee.
