Sheffield new-wavers ABC are a late addition to the bill for for the sold out Beatherder Festival happening in Gisburn, Lancashire, from Friday 18th until Sunday 20th July 2014.

Festival co-founder Nick Chambers said, "We always like to keep a little something up our sleeves ­ a surprise treat for all the Herders that got their tickets in early.

"It's going to be a great show and will definitely blend into the bonkersness of the whole event, especially if Martin wears his famous gold lamé suit. Bring on the weekend!"

They join the previously announced Happy Mondays, Eats Everything, Badly Drawn Boy, Jagwar Ma, The Orb, James Lavelle, Howard Marks, Boney M., Vitalic, The Bloody Beetroots, Hot Since 82, The 2 Bears, The Sunshine Underground, Justin Robertson, Mr. Scruff, Dub Pistols, Klangkarussell, Nucleus Roots, Greg Wilson, Bipolar Sunshine, DJ Format, The Utah Saints, Riva Starr, Wolf Alice, Ibibio Sound System and Goldie Looking Chain, and more.

Beat-Herder prides itself on being a different festival experience to any other and this year festival goers can expect 15 completely unique, craftsman built stages including the mighty Main Stage, the oriental mystery of The Fortress, the heady atmosphere of The Woods, the Trailer Trash Big Top, the cosy Snug, the authentic Working Men’s Club (step inside, you could literally be in Todmorden in 1971) and more beside.
