Tickets went on sale at 8.15am this morning and have now sold out for Radio 2's day long celebration at Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park on Sunday 14th September 2014.
The day will be headlined by Jeff Lynne's ELO performing on a festival stage for the first time in 24 years.Talking about his Festival In A Day performance, Jeff said, "I haven’t performed live in quite some time, and I know the fans have asked for it a lot over the years. It’s very exciting to come to Hyde Park with Radio 2 and do something this big, and I’m very much looking forward to playing my ELO songs for everyone."
The line-up will feature UK and international acts on the main stage including Bellowhead, Billy Ocean, Blondie, Chrissie Hynde, Gregory Porter, Kacey Musgraves, and Paloma Faith, as well as a second stage showcasing brand new talent, and a smattering of Radio 2 presenters.
For the first time this year there will be two stages. In addition to the main stage there will be a BBC Introducing Stage hosting up-and-coming talent. More details about the acts to appear on this stage will be announced nearer the time.
Tickets were priced at £38, and £10 for children aged 3-13 years, and children aged two and under do not need a ticket. There are still VIP options available. Prices do not include booking fees.
