Dry The River, Huw Stephens, and Paul Thomas Saunders are to headline a new festival, King of the Mountains.

The three-day music and arts festival will be taking place in the village of Muker, Swaledale from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th July 2014. The aim of the new event is to join the celebrations for the Yorkshire Grand Depart, when, on the Saturday Le Tour de France passes through Swaledale and right by the festival, and to celebrate live performance, culture and food from the local area. On.

The three headliners are joined by To Kill A King, Kyla La Grange, Hey Sholay, Sky Larkin, Blue Rose Code, Young Rebel Set, Sam Airey, Eaves, Three Blind Wolves, Post War Glamour Girls, Witch Hunt, Goodbye Chanel, Jacobean Ruff, Jasmine Kennedy, Charlie Straw, Yarbo, Cottonwoolf, Alaska, Pip Mountjoy, and Cry Baby Cry.

Tickets are priced at £39 (plus booking fee) for an adult weekend ticket. Young people (aged 12-17) are priced at £25 (plus booking fee), with children (aged 6-11) are £15 + (booking fee) and under 6's go free. Camping, Parking, Group and Family tickets are also available.

With music, comedy, Yorkshire food and ale, kids and family activities plus Tour De Cinema, camping cycle and car parks as well as big screens to watch all the action.
