The Gipsy Kings have been announced as the Sunday headliner at this summer's Cornbury Music Festival taking place at The Great Tew Estate, at Chipping Norton over three days from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th July 2014 and they will be making it their only UK show this summer as part of their 25th Anniversary tour.

They will top a Sunday bill that includes Sam Bailey, Luke Friend, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, 10cc, Tomoyasu Hotei, and Peatbog Faeries.

"We wanted an act that would get the crowd dancing to finish off our traditional Sunday night hooley." said Festival Director Hugh Phillimore, "We’d been waiting for final confirmation of a British star but at the last minute I decided to jump tracks when offered the Gipsy Kings. In 25 years of festival booking I’ve always wanted to sign them but never had the opportunity, so we are all incredibly excited that they’ve agreed to include us in their 25th anniversary celebrations."

Friday's line-up features Hudson Taylor, The Feeling, Suzanne Vega, Arrested Development, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Jools Holland and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, with special guests Melanie C, and Marc Almond.

Saturday's line-up includes Jon Allen, The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, Nina Nesbitt, Lissie, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes featuring Gary U.S. Bonds, Georgie Fame, Scouting For Girls, and Simple Minds.
