Nizlopi for Purbeck Folk Festival

JCB Song singers Nizlopi lead the latest acts confirmed for Purbeck Folk Festival which takes place in the Purbeck Hills, in Dorset.

Other acts added to the bill are Martha Tilston & The Scientists, Tinderbox, Big Tent & the Gypsy Lantern, Gigspanner, Amadou Diagne, Emily Barker and the Red Clay Halo, CoCo and the Butterfields, Sound of the Sirens, and Louise Jordan.

The festival which will once again be held at Wilkswood Farm in Langton Matravers, near Swanage over the weekend of Thursday 21st until Sunday 24th August 2014 sees Lloyd Cole, Eddi Reader, and The South headline and also confirmed are Turin Brakes, Idlewild, Chris Wood, Emily Barker and the Red Clay Halo, CoCo and the Butterfields, Gren Bartley, John Langan, Caravan of Thieves, Aimee Mackenzie, Alex Roberts, Odi, and Dan Whitehouse, with more acts to be announced.

Now in its sixth year, Purbeck Folk Festival’s line-up offers an eclectic mix of original young folk, established roots, traditional and world music in a family-friendly environment. The four stages are contained in the farm’s barns and a marquee venue that hosts the Purbeck Rising final and open mic sessions.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £90, a youth weekend ticket (aged 12-17yrs) is priced at £45, children aged under 12 weekend tickets are priced at £10. Campervan passes are priced at £10.

Day camping is available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at £10 a night on arrival. A limited number of Festival day tickets will also be available.
