Lightning Seeds will headline the main stage on Friday night at this summer's Chagstock festival held on Dartmoor in Devon happening on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th July.

Chagstock’s capacity is once again capped at just 5,000 tickets to ensure that its intimate, family-friendly atmosphere is maintained.

Festival organisers say, “Should England win the World Cup on July 13th (the Sunday before Chagstock), then there will be one almighty rendition of 3 Lions, I can tell you !”

This year's 'The Wild West!' fancy dress themed festival will also be host to alt-folksters Moulettes

They join, the first acts confirmed who were Saturday night headliners The Waterboys, and marquee stage on Friday night headliners Sheelanagig, plus The Selecter, The Stanfields, Sam Green & The Midnight Heist, Chagstock's house band New Crisis, and local rockers DownFall.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £75. A teen (12-17 years) weekend ticket is priced at £50, and a family weekend ticket was priced at £210. All children under 12 can attend for free (ticket is required). Tickets include free camping and parking, and day tickets will also be available.

Now in its 9th year Chagstock is a well set up, very family friendly festival, suitable for young and not so young alike, with no focus on any particular music genre, and offering a blend of music to suit a wide range of tastes. Alongside the music, there's a decent selection of food and drink, and lots other entertainment around the site to keep the kids occupied.
