Ellie Goulding is the first Main Stage headliner to be revealed for Jersey Live Festival.

Jersey Live co-organiser Warren Holt said, "I’m very excited to make our first headliner announcement, and we’re delighted to reveal that as Ellie Goulding. As her recent win at the BRIT Awards shows, she’s one of the UK’s biggest stars right now and is just the first of lots of really exciting announcements to be made ahead of our eleventh festival. It’s incredible to think that someone who has sold so many millions of records and has made such a big impact not just in the UK but in the States too – a notoriously tough nut to crack for us Brits – has only been around for a couple of years, and we’re counting down the days until August 30th. Get your limited early bird tickets when they go on sale on the 2nd March!."

The Jerseylive Festival is an indie/dance festival staged in the Royal Jersey Showgrounds, Jersey, in the Channel Islands, off the coast of France.

There are no other acts confirmed yet for the event which subject to the organisers gaining the Bailiff's permission will happen on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August.

Ellie Goulding is just the first of many live acts, DJs, comedians, children’s entertainers, spoken word artists and other performers to be announced, with more to be revealed soon. The 10,000 capacity festival boasts five stages in total: The Main Stage, Dance Stage hosting stellar indie and dance acts, with the JT Stage hosting local and up-and-coming international bands, and the Hospitality Stage. The Kids Field Big Top Stage will host children’s entertainers, expect to see acts as diverse as cbeebies, animal man, magician’s and much much more!

There's also a fairground, food village, craft stalls, face painters, candyfloss, smoothies, hot dogs….and the like.

New additions to the festival this year are the Kids Field and Par 4; the Par 4 area was introduced in 2012 but this year combined with the Kids Field will be larger than ever with children’s entertainers, circus performers, comedy acts and theatrical installations forming this magical corner of the festival. The Kids Field and Par 4 replaces the Folklore Stage, which was introduced at last year’s festival and hosted live music, spoken word and comedy.

Early bird tickets will go on sale at 9am on Sunday 2nd March. An early bird youth & adult (13+) weekend ticket is priced at £69, a day ticket is priced at £49, a child (Aged 12 years and under) weekend ticket is priced at £25, and a day ticket is priced at £15.
