Jamie Cullum, Billy Cobham, Laura Mvula, Jools Holland and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Gregory Porter, Curtis Stigers, Tinariwen, Kurt Elling, and Frank Sinatra Jnr lead the line-up for Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2014 running from Wednesday 30th April until Monday 5th May 2014.

Also confirmed are Ambrose Akinmusire, Eska, Nick Mulvey, Snarky Puppy, Paul Dunmall, Jason Rebello, Julian Siegel Quartet , Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, Judith Owen, Hailey Tuck, Anthony Marsden Band, Denys Baptiste, Tigran, Michael Wollny Trio, The Speakeasy, Trondheim Jazz Exchange, Laithwaite's Wine and Nearly Hot Club Four, Jake Isaac, Lake Street Dive, Iain Ballamy, Liane Carroll, Dan Nicholls’ Strobes, ByramArt, Gregory Porter, Thomas Stronen, Jazz All Stars ft . Natalie Williams, London Afrobeat Collective, Jo Silver and the Café Bohemia & The Indigo Kings, Get The Blessing, and Kairos 4Tet.

In addition to a world class line-up of acts, the Beyond the Band tent will feature talks, workshops and masterclasses and will transform into a ‘silent cinema’, hosting a range of jazz inspired films. 

Festival Director Ian George said, "We’re proud to once again be delivering a really diverse Festival programme that covers the entire jazz spectrum, incorporating blues, soul, funk, world music and more. We welcome musical megastars alongside the brightest emerging talents, all set against the beautiful backdrop of regency Cheltenham.”

The first acts announced were Robert Cray Band, Gilles Peterson, and '80s big band Loose Tubes, who are reuniting to mark their 30th anniversary.

This year the festival is hosted in a tented festival village in Cheltenham’s Montpellier Gardens, featuring a Big Top stage, the Jazz Arena, and a food, drink and market area. 

Ticket prices vary depending upon events, and go on general sale from 3rd March and eFestivals wil have links to buy them then.
