The National, and Janelle Monae for Sweden's Way Out West

The National, Janelle Monae, Neutral Milk Hotel, Blood Orange, Jenny Wilson, Joey Bada$$, and Deafheaven are the first acts confirmed to appear at Way Out West which takes place in Gothenburg, Sweden from Thursday 7th until Saturday 9th August 2014.

The event hosts national and international acts at venues all over the city; rock clubs, nightclubs, churches, theatres and cultural centres are all used to showcase breaking and more established acts as part of the festivals club concept, Stay Out West.

The main festival takes place in the 137 hectare park of Slottsskogen in Gothenburg on the Friday and Saturday of the festival weekend. Other acts perform at various venues in and around central Gothenburg on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Ticket prices have not yet been announced and will go on sale on Friday 14th February, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.
