Ellie Goulding will headline the main stage at Eden Sessions in front of 6,000 people on Tuesday 8th July.

Ellie is the first act confirmed for the famous Biomes this year, with multiple evenings returning with popular music to the beautiful surroundings of the Eden Project in Cornwall.

A Sessions ticket entitles the ticket holder to visit the Eden Project either on the day of the concert or the day after. All proceeds from the events will go to the Eden Trust. The full dates of Sessions have not yet been announced.

Rita Broe, Eden's Strategic Marketing Director, said, "We’re very excited to be able to confirm Ellie Goulding as our first Sessions headliner of 2014. She has had incredible success since the release of her debut album and can now be counted among the UK’s brightest musical stars.

Her debut number one single Burn and the Calvin Harris collaboration I Need Your Love were two of the defining summer tracks of last year with nearly 300 million YouTube views between them  - the perfect centrepieces for what promises to be a classic Session."

Tickets are priced at £35.

The Sessions are famed not only for bringing top acts to Cornwall but also for their festival feel, with extra bands and entertainers playing around the site in the run-up to the main event. The event will have three stages featuring some of the best up-and-coming acts playing from early afternoon on each day as well as the headliners.

There is no camping allowed on site, and animals are not permitted.
