Dreadzone lead first acts for Strummercamp

plus XSLF, Jah Wobble, and more

Reggae and dub fusionists Dreadzone lead the first acts to be confirmed for this year's Strummercamp in Manchester.

Also confirmed are XSLF (X Stiff Little Fingers) reuniting Henry Cluney with Jim Reilly after 30 or more years, Jah Wobble, Linea, Headsticks, Super Fast Girlie Show, Band Of The Underhand, and Joe Solo.

In total festival goers can expect over 60 acts on the bill plus comedy, all day bar/food, toilets and disabled toilet facilities, and more.

Strummercamp, organised by friends of the late Joe Strummer, is intended to be a celebration and tribute run on a not-for-profit basis. This year's festival takes returns to Manchester Rugby Club, Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire from Friday 23rd until Sunday 25th May 2014.

An adult early bird ticket is priced at £55, a child early bird ticket is priced at £15, and a family early bird ticket is priced at £120.

Strummercamp is a not for profit venture presented organised and staffed entirely by volunteers. It is not connected, affiliated or a subsidiary of any other organisation.
