first 17 acts announced for Hampshire festival

eFestivals can exclusively reveal Bellowhead, Oysterband, Afro Celt Sound System, Dreadzone lead the first acts announced for Wickham Festival taking place from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th August 2013.

Also confirmed for the family-friendly festival held in the Hampshire village of Wickham are Michael McGoldrick with John McCusker, Altan (Ireland), Steve Knightley (Show of Hands) with Miranda Sykes & Rex Preston, Thea Gilmore, Luka Bloom, John Jones & the Reluctant Ramblers, 3 Daft Monkeys, Tony McManus, Ian Bruce & Ian Walker, Holly Kirby, Dick Gaughan, and The Men They Couldn't Hang .

The first two batches of 1000 'earlybird' season tickets have now completely sold-out.  A further 500 'early bird' season tickets are now on sale.

Early bird 4-day weekend season tickets are on sale priced at £110 for an adult weekend ticket, with under-16s being half-price and under-10s free. Camping tickets are priced at £25 per tent or caravan for the whole weekend, and day tickets also being on sale with prices from £25 adult, £12.50 under-16s. Under-10s are free throughout.

The 5,000 capacity festival features live music on three stages plus a 'Groovy Movie' cinema tent, digital funfair, street theatre, storytelling, comedy, real ales festival, exotic foods fayre, Late Night Festival Club and entertainment for all ages with camping.
