Bryan Adams will headline Ireland's Westport Festival of Music & Food which returns for a third time next year on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June 2014 to the estate of Westport House, a 400 acre site in the heart of Co. Mayo, Ireland.

Closing the festival on Sunday the Canadian will present a set of rock n’ roll favourites including 'Summer of 69', 'Run to You', '18 ‘Til I Die', 'It’s Only Love', 'Somebody' and 'Cuts Like A Knife' , and is the first of over 50 international and Irish acts performing over 5 stages. Additional music acts, comedian, chefs and weekend activities will be announced over the coming months.

Also confirmed today is Kool & the Gang who will be bringing large doses of Funk, Soul, R&B, American Jazz and a bit of Disco to Sunday, with their hits including 'Ladies Night', 'Jungle Boogie', 'Celebration', 'Get Down On It', 'Joanna', 'Fresh', and 'Cherish'.

Westport Festival of Music & Food tickets will go on sale on Friday, 6th December at 9.30am as follows:

Adult - non camping
131 euro incl b/fee for a Weekend ticket
76 euro incl b/fee for Saturday or Sunday

Teen (13 to 17 years old) - non camping
61 euro incl b/fee for a Weekend ticket
41 euro incl b/fee for Saturday or Sunday

Kids under 12 go free - limit of 2 children per adult. Weekend camping prices have not yet been announced.

The on-site family area includes a Pirate Adventure Park on the festival grounds. Families will be able to enjoy the Pirate Queen swinging ship, the Pirates Plunge Water Slide, the gorgeous swan Pedaloe Boats, the Westport House Express miniature train ride, bouncy castles and many more fun festival activities.
