Chas & Dave, Marillion, and Al Stewart for Cropredy 2014

Chas & Dave, Marillion, and Al Stewart are the first acts to be confirmed for next year's Fairport's Cropredy Convention the annual shindig hosted by Fairport Convention.

On Friday the duo that have been performing together for over 50 years the Rockneys Chas and Dave will appear. On Saturday Marillion will take the stage at Cropredy, and on Saturday evening, just before Fairport, it will host the legendary Al Stewart. 

Hosts Fairport Convention are expected to make two appearances opening the festival and closing the show with friends as is traditional. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Cropredy will be putting tickets on sale for a limited period between 8th and 18th December 2013 and they'll be delivered to UK addresses in time for Christmas. eFestivals will have links to buy them when they are available.

Three-day tickets cost £110; two-day (Friday and Saturday) tickets cost £100; and Saturday-only tickets cost £70 (this Saturday-only price has been held for three years).

The annual festival of folk and rock music is held on the edge of the village of Cropredy, and run by Fairport Convention. This year's 34th anniversary of the festival will take place from Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th August 2014.
