Jools Holland to headline Wigan International Jazz Festival

Jools Holland has been confirmed as the headlining act at next year's Wigan International Jazz Festival taking place over four days from Thursday 10th until Sunday 13th July 2014 at Robin Park, in Wigan, Lancashire.

Thursday headliner Jools Holland and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, will be joined by special guest star Marc Almond, and guest vocalists Ruby Turner, and Louise Marshall.

The show takes place at Robin Park Indoor Sports Centre at the start of the four day jazz event. Jools said: "This will be my first time playing in Wigan and I'm really looking forward to being part of the jazz festival."

Ian Darrington, Director of Wigan International Jazz Festival, added, "We are extremely excited to have signed Jools Holland and his guests for the festival and are really looking forward to welcoming them to Wigan in what looks set to be a fantastic summer for live music in the borough. I'd encourage fans to book their tickets quickly as seats for this gig are sure to sell out fast!"
