Black Sabbath for Austria's Nova Rock 2014

Black Sabbath are the first headliner to be announced for the 10th Nova Rock, happening in Austria next June.

The news was posted on their official forums (here) by organisers who said,

"Hi, You are ready, Nova Rock is now going into its 10th anniversary round and what would be more to fit than open this speak with THE Legends of Metal. 

....Ozzy Osbourne with his reunited Black Sabbath will headline the Nova Rock 2014. Additional bands follow when there is news to announce."

For more than four decades Black Sabbath have been at the front of heavy metal. The metal legends have sold more than 70 million albums sold in her career and this year saw the first release in decades with '13' and new songs to join fan favourites 'Paranoid', 'Iron Man' and 'War Pigs'.

After sold-out shows in North and South America, Australia and Asia Black Sabbath start their European tour at the end of the month. Singer Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler have now decided to perfrom additional shows in the summer next year.

Rock Nova takes place from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th June 2014 at Pannonia Fields II, Nickelsdorf, in Austria.
