Next summer's Field Day will be returning to its leafy green home in Victoria Park in June for an eighth year but it will expand to a two day event.

Hosted by promoters Eat Your Own Ears, Bugged Out!, Bleed and Lanzarote, the over 18s only event will now be held on both Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June 2014.

The event which has its own unique formula of musical line-up and village fete mentality will again be providing ample entertainment for those looking for respite from the music in the Village Mentality area on The Village Green. Expect traditional side stalls inspired by country pastimes and weird and wonderful fete games, from classic tug of war, sack races and egg and spoon race to more unexpected and fantastic ones like tea bag tossing and a winkle picking contest.

Promoter Tom Baker of Eat Your Own Ears says: "I am thrilled that Field Day is now taking place over two days in London’s Victoria Park. It’s been a long time coming. I can’t wait to reveal who’s playing… so keep your eyes on @fielddaylondon for more super exciting news very soon!"
