a trio of acts added to Bloodstock

Brit metallers Saxon, Polish death metal legends Decapitated, and US thrashers Flotsam and Jetsam next summer's Bloodstock Open Air taking place from Thursday 7th until Sunday 10th August at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire.

Decapitated excitedly declared, "Bloodstock, here we come!!! Finally, after many years, it's time to play at one of the biggest metal festivals in the UK. Can't fucking wait! It's an honour to perform on the Bloodstock stage for so many people. Hopefully we will kick your asses with our new album! See you soon!"

They join the first acts to be announced who were UK exclusive headliners Emperor, and Down. For the line-up details as available please click here. There are no other acts confirmed yet for 2014.

As well as the international heavy metal bands across four stages, Bloodstock will offer a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

Early bird tickets are priced at £115 for adults with camping, and car parking is priced at £16, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £35, and campervan passes priced at £45. Day tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date. VIP options available at a later date.
