There will be a new 'Wild West' district at next summer's Boomtown Fair for which early bird tickets will go on sale on Monday 4th November priced from £110.

The festival which this year sold out of 26,000 tickets for the fifth year running offers an amazing variety of entertainment including the full Arcadia Spectacular show, and already hosts seven diverse districts, more than 30 mini venues to be discovered and over 300 musical acts.

Joining them will be a dedicated Folk and Roots stage within a new themed area. This new district will be titled ‘The Wild West’ and include a fully immersive blue-grass venue more details will be released over the coming months

Lak Mitchell, BoomTown's Creative Director, said, “We are really excited about this new venture, Folk and Country is something we have been really interested in and it is only now we feel the event is in a position to move in a new direction, plans are only at the drawing board stage but things are definitely progressing and we can’t wait to reveal the new elements over the next few months…”

The 2013 Fair saw the first ever onsite BoomTown elections and 100s of residents took to the ballot boxes to vote for their favourite district councillor, and the councillor for Barrio Loco, Ms. Burrita Jose, was chosen as the new Mayor of BoomTown.

With this Latin Quarter appointment the festival will see some changes with a Mexican influence infiltrating the Town Council. Her manifesto promised, "To promote tourism and trade with a 'Day of the Dead' Carnival and instigate a training programme so that tourists may achieve the stamina to keep up with the area's hard partying."

Chapter Six of the festival with an on going narrative for around 30,000 festivalgoers takes place at Matterley Estate, nr. Winchester, in Hampshire and will run from Thursday 7th until Sunday 10th August 2014.
