Muse fans will be interested to hear that Muse's lead singer Matt Bellamy has revealed to Rolling Stone magazine (here) that they do have plans for a very limited number of festival appearances next year.

The frontman revealed as their American tour ends that, "Next year, we may do one festival or two, but we’re probably going to concentrate on getting into a new album.

The Devon rockers, who next year celebrate twenty years together, have also been quoted as saying that there might be one or two special festivals to celebrate, with some news agencies suggesting there may only be just two shows one in America and just one in Europe.

The band last appeared live earlier this year performing for an hour at a free gig at Horse Guards Parade Ground to promote a Zombie movie for which they had contributed tracks. They also performed stadium shows , and last made a UK festival appearance at
Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2011.
