Newton Faulkner has been announced as Saturday headliner at Scotland's ninth annual Loopallu which happens next month.

Also making an appearance over the weekend of  Friday 20th and Sunday 21st September 2013 at Ullapool, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland are The Temperance Movement, Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire, Ruen Brothers, and actor turned singer songwriter Laurence Fox.

Regular partners goNorth will showcase some of Scotlands next big stars and bring Prides, Blood Relatives, and Fake Major to the line-up.

goNorth Director Amanda Millen said, "We are delighted to be closing this year's Festival Tour at Loopallu and continuing our long-standing relationship with the even. Loopallu consistently delivers an exciting and diverse line up of emerging and established acts, and is a fantastic platform for our artists to develop their audience."

Completing the latest additions to the bill are festival favourites The Vatersay Boys, and Loopallu debutants The New Piccadillys.

They join The Enemy who headline Friday, plus The Beat, Roddy Woomble, Moulettes, and more to be announced at this small intimate festival situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom Loopallu has activities for all ages in addition to the music.
