Duke Special, and The Divine Comedy are confirmed as headliners of the third edition of Stendhal Festival which takes place in the Roe Valley, Northern Ireland, on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th August 2013.

Duke Special top the Friday evening of the Festival while bringing the event to a conclusion on Saturday will be The Divine Comedy.

Also added to the line-up are Grant Hart and the Burn Burning, Vanilla Gloom, The Dead Presidents, Noel Flynn, The Down and Out Bluegrass band, Dying Breed, Antidote Emcee Showcase feat. Gerard i2, Bee Mick See and Cull, Dramatic Tiger Club, Cahir McLaughlin, Scala Strings and a special DJ set and talk from Belfast's Terri Hooley.

The Festival has also announced that headlining the Comedy programme at this year's festival will be John Moloney.

Organiser of Stendhal Festival of Art, Ross Parkhill, commented: "Having put the finishing touches to our musical line-up for this year's festival we are confident in saying that our bill is the strongest it has ever been. We can’t wait to play host to what we believe will be one of the most magical events of the year in all of Northern Ireland this August."


Combining music, art, dance, sculpture, poetry, and a host of other activities, this is a family friendly event that embraces the ethos of community, discovering different genres of art and above all, having a good time.

Already confirmed for 2013 are Paddy Casey, Mick Wilson, More Power to your Elbow, Little Bear, Trucker Diablo, Rainy Boy Sleep, Axis of, Paul Casey, The Bonnevilles, Paddy Nash and the Happy Enchiladas, Paul Casey, Malojian, Sons of Caliber, Our Krypton Son, Furlo, Triggerman, Wyldling, Amidships, The Clameens, De Fuego, Droids, Ruairi and The Owls, Chris Keys, August, Edwin Brooks and the Burning Glass, Intermission (acoustic), Antidote EmCee Showcase, The Steve Experiment, Alana Henderson, Limavady Big Band, John Deery & The Heads, Ria Maguire, Susie Blue, The Encore contemporary Choir, Juma, Stumblebums, Tommy Shots, Brolly's Harp School, Hidden Highways, and Badgerdan.

In addition to the music programmed over four stages, Stendhal Festival will also play host to a varied family programme of events for the kids to enjoy, art work, sculpture, a craft market, digital art installations, a fun fair and many more wee surprises.


Tickets are priced at £30 for a weekend camping pass and £45 for a family weekend camping pass (2 adults and up to 4 kids under 18).
