Avicii to headline Glasgow Summer Sessions

his debut gig on Scottish soil

'Levels' Swedish DJ Avicii will make his Scottish debut this year headlining DF Concerts & Events new series of concerts, Glasgow Summer Sessions, in the city's Bellahouston Park in August.

Avicii, will be joined by Tinie Tempah as his special guest and will perform at Bellahouston Park on Saturday 17th August. They join Kings of Leon (15th August) and Eminem (20th August) at the top of the bill for the urban festival. 

Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts & Events, said, "We are delighted to bring Avicii to Scotland for the first time and to welcome Tinie Tempah back again - it’s going to be a phenomenal show!

"With four of the biggest International names in music confirmed to play, we’re delighted with the line-up for the first year of Glasgow Summer Sessions. The events will have a real festival vibe, with doors opening at 4pm and a wide range of tasty festival food on offer."

Tickets for the Avicii show will go on sale at 10am on Friday 21st June priced at £39, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then. Tickets for the Kings of Leon show are priced at £55. Tickets for Eminem day sold out in under 7 hours.
