Kings of Leon will make their only Scottish appearance this year headlining DF Concerts & Events new series of concerts, Glasgow Summer Sessions, in the city's Bellahouston Park in August.

Kings Of Leon
The Tennessee quartet of Followill brothers, plus special guests will perform at Bellahouston Park on Thursday 15th August.

Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts & Events, said, "Kings of Leon really need no introduction - they are a phenomenal live act. Their sold out concert at Murrayfield Stadium in June 2011 was incredible and their Bellahouston show promises to be just as special.

"With two huge shows now announced and the special guests for both still to be unveiled, the first year of Glasgow Summer Sessions is shaping up to be a fantastic addition to the Scottish music calendar and we look forward to it growing over the next few years."

Support on the day has not yet been announced. Previously announced Tuesday 20th August headliner is Eminem. Other headlining acts for other days have not yet been announced.

Tickets for the Kings of Leon show will go on sale at 9am on Friday 19th April priced at £55, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then. Tickets for Eminem day sold out in under 7 hours.
