final acts revealed for Wood

Just added to the the line-up are Band of Hope, Co-Pilgrim, Liz Lawrence, Paper Aeroplanes, and Sally Archer making almost 50 the total number of acts confirmed for Wood, the festival celebrating music and nature, which happens in the surroundings of Braziers Park, in Oxfordshire from Friday 17th until Sunday 19th May 2013.

They join the acts already confirmed Friday headliner Mary Epworth, plus Jackie Oates, La Morte Subite, Jack Cade & the Everyday Sinners, Ralfe Band, Oxford Ukuleles, THe Wood Brothers, Dustin Bentall & Kendall Carson, Adam Barnes, Edd Keene, Jess Hall, Art Theefe, Rainbow Reservoir, Megan Henwood, The August List, Katy Rose & The Cavalry Parade, Reichenback Falls, Until The Bird, Natureboy, Will Phipps, Milky Moon, Rye Wolf, House of Hats, Jess Roberts & the Silver Rays, Oliver Wilde, Owen Tromans, The Cedars, Case Hardin, The Redlands Palomino Company, Paul McClure, The Mad Staring Eyes, The Arlenes, Danny and the Champions Of The World, Syd Arthur, Trevor Moss and Hannah-Lou, Dreaming Spires, Washington Irving, Jali Fily Cissokho, Flights Of Helios, Ligers, Julie Hawk, Nick Cope, Jack Day, and Marcus Corbett.

They will appear across two stages, the Wood Stage and in the Tree Tent, which will for the first time run all day on the Saturday and Sunday as well as Friday evening.

Wood runs entirely on renewable energy and aims to highlight green issues and hopefully promote an ecologically friendly lifestyle, with things like composting toilets, showers heated by wood-burning stove, a people powered fairground, and a solar-powered stage and dancing into the night in a bicycle powered 'discotheque'. Workshops and activities this year include Make a Record Player from a Cardboard Box, Harmony Singing, and a Junk Samba Session.

Weekend tickets are priced at £75 for adults which includes camping and all workshops. There is also a teen ticket for ages 13-17 priced priced £65, children aged 12 and under will be able to go along for free! Parking is priced at £10. Campervan tickets are priced at £40.
